As the spirit of the cougar leaves its body, you feel helpless that you aren't strong enough to manipulate it yet. However, you can take a little bit of energy from it, refreshing you from your long chase. The flesh tastes good. Better than rotting squirrel at least.

With a stroke of good thinking, you tear open the flesh and plunge your hands deep inside the guts of the cougar. You pull out its stomach, and pour its contents on the ground. You then tie up one end shut and fill the rest with as much blood as possible.

You got a pouch full of blood! Yaaay! You tie it to your waist using some sinews from the cougar's now mutilated corpse.

After taking the time to make your blood container, you suddenly feel the urge to destroy it. Go figure. But not before drinking down its contents. Your favorite part are the small clots here and there that give it such a wonderful texture.

You decide you've spent enough time on this mountain, and you head off in the direction of the path to the east. You walk through the woods for hours upon hours, and it is about midnight when you spot a small gravel trail. One end of the trail appears to lead out further east towards the pass, one leads up north. You can faintly smell something unnatural in the air.
