Angkor Vath (Succession, Genesis mod) - turn 3

Fortress: Angkor Vath, "Redcavern of Hatred".
Group: "The theatre of Gods".
Civilization: "The Coal of Love".

Current year: 153.

Biomes: "Yellow hill", wilderness/shrubland; "Tattoed desert", wilderness/badlands; "Naugty Ocean", haunted/ocean.

I've finally decided that I've spent enough time modding but not playing. TIME TO PLAY!

So we start with my Genesis mod. I will start first and anyone who wants can play later.

hmm slap me onto year 2 this is gonna be totally awsum
(by the way maybe you should show us the worldmap first or something so we can choose a location)
but id like to embark in the desert or something with much evil ;D
i'm not so good with names tough, so someone else can decide that

You know what. When I searched for name I randomed it. Angkor!

So it will be RedCavern of Hatred. Or Angkor Vath. Yay. It's a prophecy. Now we should build a big temple for Armok. It should be a bit hard, considering the aquifier and terrifying ocean.

By the way, we're settled on Yellow Hill near Tattoed Desert and on the shore of Naughty Ocean >.<. Don't ask me.

I will play a bit and show you the pictures and a short story.

The Theater of Gods. Beautiful group name. Second in badassness only to The Artifact of Murder. But yeah, shitty civ name. Wait a minute... If we're "the Coal of Love," then we can be burned for fuel for that lovely adamantine... Or our smelters run on love, preferably in a similar way to the Hadoken.. Either/or.

I don't know, I think I'd be worried about the name "The Theater of Gods".  I mean, that means the gods are watching you for their entertainment.  That could be a lot of trouble for you.

Actually, that just sounds like Dwarf Fortress...

Actually I thought of "the coal of love" as of something like "the ash of love". So let's take the elven love and turn it into coal!


The first level dug up. Yep, that's a dining room in the soil. No awesome dining room for us! At least fellows will be more angry reasonable when a problem strikes...


We have two farms: one of them grows plump helmets, another one grows cave grapes. This should add some diversity to foods and drinks.

Workshop level is below, it's dug up and all we need are... workshops.

ikbenbram, which tileset do you use? I need to adapt the save to it because I have lots of stuff like vermin and plants which are assigned to custom tiles.

This is how it's gonna work: the previous player will upload the save, I will "fix" it for the next player's tileset, and so on.

Eral Tomespicks, our founder miner, was out in the desert looking at pretty animals when a lot of buzzards came from nowhere and stormed him. The brave guy ran for his life but he's managed to grab one of the birds by its tail and smash its head with his pick. He approached the entrance screaming: - Buzzards!.. Buzzards!.. Buzzard's roast!



So yeah, now we have a fine buzzard roast for dinner.


Or you could just upload the tileset too.
Tilesets are not included in a save. You can use the mod's tileset though, but it totally depends on player's personal taste and I want the game to feel comfortable for everyone.
