Caesar shrugs, not too interested in socializing. Surely his name isn't necessary knowledge for the survival of the others.

Priorites (in order):

Food.
Seeds (berries. not things that need milling.)
backpack and non-glass flask/waterskin
a hat to cover my apparent baldness?

Do we have a map of this place? I'd dearly love to find a well. I have a glass flask to fill.

1: 15 Prickle berries, 20 Dorfbucks
2: 10 Prickle berry seeds, 10 Dorfbucks
3a: One cow leather backpack, 30 Dorfbucks
3b: one draltha leather flask, well decorated, 40 Dorfbucks
4: You are not bald, I was joking. There is a silver coif available for 120 Dorfbucks.

You have 80 Dorfbucks from the cards.

Nope. You will make one if you explore though. The Dwarves may or may not mind, depending on how much fun you have. This fortress has the economy active.

Caesar continues spying the surrounding landscape.
Gabbro, Gabbro, More gabbro, and a small gold vein revealed by the rockfall. But do you really think the dwarves will like you taking it?

I will go and see how much they are willing to buy paper for.

I am looking for seeds that make grain, and how much a mule is.

Lets head to out chosen settlement location as soon as everyone is done trading. No more reason to hang around here after that.

Sorry Karne, was trying to keep trading short. I know it's boring.

1 Berries for sure. - 20
2 do the seeds for sure - 10 do they come with a bag? ;)
3a backpack for sure - 30
3b I definitely check the decorations on that flask, for kicks.
4. I was rolling with the being bald, but whatever. a silvercoif's too rich for my blood, anyways.

Aw. No dwarfbucks for the desk?
hmmm... not enough left for anything else. 20 left. I don't suppose they give out coins, so... umm.
OK, I'm offering up the round tigereye ornament (size of a plum. is that Large?) and if required, as many pencils as it takes to make up the difference and get the flask.

Then  (if allowed) I (S)tealthily start exploring the joint. AWAY from the suspiciously warm wall, and the trade depot. Lookin' for a well. I want good water for the journey ahead.

You buy some prickle berries and some seeds, as well as a backpack. You check out the decorations on the flask.

This is a Draltha Leather Flask. It menaces with spikes of iron and is adorned with rings of bronze. On the item is an image of a human and humans. The humans are tossing rotted fruit. The picture relates to the disgrace of Almost the human in 1109

Sweet.

I wake up, having slept through some trading and arguing.
I don't think I have anything worthwhile to contribute to trading. Wires and cables might be worth something minor, but we can probably make better use of them than what they'd pay us.

Also, I never did this:

Do you guys think I should schedule a meeting with the mayor to tell them what a nice place they've dug out for themselves?

Yet again, here are my actions. (they disappeared?) Before we leave...

If it's too late now, I'll just put on a puppet show for fun while we walk.
