Strange, I know but I would like my acventeurer to have hand grenades of some sort, can it be so they explode on impact of the ground and start a fire with shrapnel that gets stuck in?

it should also knock back (like a mini cave-in

is thi spossbile?

It's possible you could make a material that melts at room temperature into a corrosive liquid, and give yourself weapons of it. However, this would result in your own adventurer melting as soon as the game began.

No, actually you could mod in rocks of material that evaporates in tree(bush) fire. That way you could do some serious damage

for fort mode you could make a stone you can launch with catapults that will boil at just above underground temperature. As long as they are stored and launched from underground they wont poof till they land outside.

Problem is they might show up in caravans, causing them to explode.

well there was booze bombs in 40d which had some effect but really frag nades?
you might want to try figuring out how to pick up a live animals then modding them with sever breaks and a dust attack that in the blood.

but that would take learning how the game works and altering the code so it's possible only for those with a high coding skill.

Someone try making lignite blocks in dwarf mode and throwing them at magma men (or other high temp. monsters) in adventurer mode. After they hit, I would think that they would ignite.

Edit: If the blocks just light on fire and don't explode after contact, try doing it with lignite crafts. I'm positive those explode. I had a dwarf who was uninjured after making one, but was permanently stunned, moving and working at half speed the whole time. At the very least it would make for a good flash-bang grenade.

Booze bombs weren't actually booze bombs. Booze made a mist in high temperatures, but it didn't hurt anybody.
