Meh, once you're liberal enough, you stop seeing the need to tell the difference between different kinds of conservatives.

I think I'll just go Machievelian, and kill all the people my founder recruits once the LCS is up and running...

Nononono!

What happens is, when the person directly above their chain of command leaves or dies, that person and everyone in his/her group will leave the LCS!

So, if you kill everyone your founder recruited, EVERYONE except your founder will leave the LCS. (it will say xxx has lost contact with the LCS)

Yeah, though if your Liberals have enough leadership skill, it's also possible that your founder will automatically promote one of the dead person's subordinates to replace the dead person and prevent the loss of contact, and then your founder will be in direct contact with someone new. Either way, it defeats the purpose.

Just a thought, but wouldn't it make sense for LCS members with a high enough leadership to not require an LCS contact? I mean, that's how terrorist cells typically operate, they tend to isolate themselves and act autonomously. That might be too much for game play, but if you make the leadership threshold high enough, I think it would be hard to abuse it.

That can kinda happen, in a way. If the founder dies, one of his recruits with a high enough leadership and juice will take his place.

Actually, it can totally happen in some versions.  See, in some versions, upon founder death, EVERY possible recruit with high enough leadership and juice gets promoted to founder.  So then you have multiple LCS groups with totally seperate heads.  I do not know which of the versions have this bug feature.

That could certainly lead to some hilarious situations, if the LCS could split into multiple cells due to founder death. Mainly, of course, having two Liberal Crime Squads show up at a single location and mistake each other for Conservative Scum untill one of them yells the Liberal Slogan halfway through the fight.

Excuse me, are you the Liberal Crime Squad?

FUCK OFF! We're the Crime Squad of Liberalism!

EDIT: For actual content besides Python-jokes, I really hate it when CIA decides they want to kill my founder, who hasn't done anything (apart from recruiting the 6 guys who have killed over 2000 people with axes). The six guys all have 1000 juice, anyone of them could lead the squad... but no, one of them becomes the new leader and the others leave. It really angered me that the leavers couldn't follow mr. MacGyver who had been fighting on their side (unlike Gimli, the aptly-named founder of the Axe Squad).
