Okay, so, today this girl I know-Lauren, just took a sudden dis-interest in talking to me. Is she just on her period or something?

So are most things, what's your point?

Your claim is unsubstantiated by the fact that minimal research has been done on these creatures. They could have evolved within the past 10,000 years for all we know.

Lots of claims are unsubstantiated, mine are based on both the belief that australia was the original location for evolution of amphibians (look up australia and evolution and paw around until you find what I mean, because I dont like looking for informational links), and the fact that handfish are native to the waters of coastal Australia and Tasmania.

By my (yes, unsubstantiated) claim, either they are an evolutionary link, or dead end, regression (think water mammals) from those first land fish.

OMG I'm not Armok, and If I have to post a "I'm NOT Armok" thread just to put it out there, I'm going to grab you right through the internet Grakelin...

Also zombie fish on youtube. (the guy fileted it and put it back in the tank...alive)

Amphibians evolved some 400 million years ago. At that point Australia did not exist, or perhaps more accurately the landmass that makes up Australia now was shaped different, in a completely different place, and connected to what is now India, Antarctica, and China.

did someone think they saw a picture of the fallen madonna with the big boobies?

loved that program when I was younger, looks soooo dated now.
