Masterpiece defacement

I hope this isn't a rehashed/impossible idea, but I was just thinking it might be cool (and possibly more "realistic") if dwarfs who have suffered a masterpiece defacement would have a chance to simply want to hurt/kill whatever caused the defacement with a singleminded focus, rather than just generally tantrum.

I remember Xerxes turned into Bezerxes for a while after a river storm washed out his bridge.

He went nuts and had the river whipped and burning irons thrown into it.
