Buzzards, worse then goblins.
« on: May 29, 2010, 09:46:57 pm »

Opinions?  Maybe I'm the only one, but I've been getting semi-annually hordes of buzzards.

I just lost half of my guys (Who I sent to kill buzzards)

Why?

Buzzard flew over the pond, my military is good at dodging

Only in dwarven culture is alcohol poisoning a death worthed investigating, while being impaled through several toes, a eye, and a thumb from a spiraling water[3] is not.  Because everyone knows, the only way a dwarf could get alcohol poisoning is if someone put poison into the alcohol.

At one juncture, I decided to embark in an evil swamp, situated comfortably near a mountain edge.

As soon as I spawned, I was descended upon by swarms of zombie/skeleton buzzards. It was grotesque.

The similarities to Cliff Racers is disturbing...

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.

That actually sounded quite cool.

So what happens when you pit normal and undead buzzards against each other?

Damn agreed.

Note btw, that if you manage to catch an entire wave of Buzzards in cage traps, they will stop respawning on the map. I have had 4 Buzzards in cages in my stockpile for half a decade and not seen another Buzzard since. Goblins and Camels, however, are unrelenting no matter how many I catch. Prior to catching the Buzzards, I got 4-6 waves per year. Apparently since they're still "alive", they can't spawn more...
