Yeah, typing ten whole digits is practically impossible compared to the myriad other interface 'issues' DF currently has.

Anyways, this really wouldn't be too excruciatingly hard to add in, but neither would a lot of things- the problem is that this isn't useful at all compared to a lot of the bugfixes and stuff going on.   If Toady implements it on the fly, that's cool- I just don't personally support 'frilly' stuff like this.
