I updated net framework to 3.5 and the issue still bugs me.

Sounds like a missing dependancy.
Ddi you tried all the 3 updates as in the readme?
Also what OS do you have?

So if all that's true, can this be implemented?

Chainsaw-Limited to melee range has an ammo meter that depletes over time when active
A gun that can shoot through walls?
Night Vision goggles?
Meals Ready to Eat (MRE a real army food item) that can only be activated by another item (hot water)?
Those are new abilities that are not in the game.
New abilities mean new code to write, to handle these new abilities.
This is different from just changing data.
Modders will not be able to do this.

He said it was a bug on the blog. They are coming back.

(Also, the chainsaw could just be a gun that always hits.)

I only found the game fun once i jacked up the difficulty as high as it would go, but then ofcourse it takes afew years for my character to finish sleeping/resting.

After some correspodence with Rogued Jack, It works on my PC now.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome. The bikers are clearly a reference to dawn of the dead, when they just come in and ruin your perfectly good barricade and kill your entire party. However, is there any way to turn your cellphone off to spare battery?

I will add data modding in a future version.  :-*
You will be able to change existing actor models and item models stats  8), but no new models.  :'(
For various reasons I did not design a "proper" game engine, just the minimal engine I needed for the gameplay. That explains the "no new stuff" part. Designing a proper engine is nice and all, but for me it gets in the way of making and finishing an actual game (cf blog posts about failed past projects, all had grand visions, nice configurable engines... and no gameplay, cute hollow shells).

Ps: "rouge" means "red" in French, proper word is "rogue"  :P
Ah I see, I can understand limitations of engine (because I wrote games too, but they were really small and amateurish).

If you could allow us to edit existing creature names and parameters it would be awesome. Thank you in advance :).

After a long break out of Rogue Survivor, having my rogue-time getting monopolised by the crawl tourney i looked at Roguejack website and noticed that he fixed the Intel very bad shader support for his Rogue Survivor minimap !

And it works very well, i can see the minimap !
