yes, it is.

You just have to mix and match manually.

Just go for it, you'll figure it out soon enough. Get notepad++ if you want to edit raws though,it'll help a lot with highlighting brackets and all that. That's how I started modding, like one part of this mod and another of this and wouldn't it be cool if this was there as well.. and you have your personal flavor. Then suddenly you know how to edit raws like a boss. ( I play with the awesome Naga mod from Kohaku and I wanted to add wings to some of the nagas to fit my own lore about them then next thing I know I'm changing goblins to be harder, then I added orcs, then drow, didn't like the drow having their own gear ( since I didn't play them it's just clutter ) so I got rid of that .. well that's just how it works )

Just don't go releasing other people's work as your own and you can do whatever you want.

It *might* be possible to mix & match stuff using .png's and such, but I don't wanna go learn image editing or even freaking SDL to do that

I am downloading the newest version, so I thought I would finally post in the forum to say how awesome this is and how much  appreciate this.

I used to have to fight to change my keybinding and installing a graphics pack was so frustrating! I was too intimidated for the utilities and had no DT.
It is nice when the difficulty is in the game play and not in trying to make the game work. I played vanilla for two years and started using these pack about a year ago.

All of the people who make things like this for dwarf fortress are awesome! I hardly play any games but dwarf fortress now.

ok so i got this on my usb right now and i have a Windows XP computer at school(for tech)
i tried opening up at school and gives me a hex error(using 32 bit computer)

I notice that Runesmith is listed in the first post but I can't find it when I run LNP.  Am I missing it or is it not included?  Is Runesmith even compatible with the more recent DF versions?

Runesmith isn't compatible with the latest version as far as I know. You should check it's own thread for more info on that.
