I'm with a problem: I can't run the stonesense in the menu utilities of the Lazy Newb Pack, I run it, but it doens't appear and nothing happens. I need of the NET Framework installed to work? or is another thing?

This is likely not an LNP error.

AVG says i'm getting Trojans from downloading the lazy newb pack.
Or is it lying to me?

It's a false positive, it's looking at the dfhack tools.
I guess we should assemble a dfhack-free pack now

Can you make one with DFhack aswell (and upload both, with a warning on the DFhack one)? I'm too much of a lazy newb to add it in myself each update

It's a false positive.

DFHack is triggering the warning, because it alters the memory of a running program much like trojans. However, it is actually a legitimate open-source program.

Basically, you've just proven that your anti-virus program is spotting programs that mess with another program (excellent!), but we all know what DFHack does and what program it's hacking, so it's perfectly safe.

EDIT: Just to be clear, DFHack hacks DF, which is how it can do things like add liquids or count tiles of a certain material, etc.

We would do it, but apparently:

yes, it is possible.
just install texturepack/whatever first, then your mod.

Would it be possible to get the LNP working with more comprehensive mods that tend to come packaged with DF(I'm thinking Genesis)?

Just replace the contents of the Dwarf Fortress folder with the modded Dwarf Fortress files.
Do not attempt to change the graphics through LNP if you are using any mods though. Your mods raw files just be overwritten.

Soooo, are we 100% sure there are no trojans with the lnp version? I have VERY good reason to wonder, and these are the only "trojans" that I've found on my computer. :/

Yes, 100%
As one of the developers I can guarantee that none of our code is malicious.
DFhack libraries do memory manipulation, which is what some viruses do, so antivirus soft registers it "just in case".

The only possible problem is if someone breaks into mediafire/one of our accounts there and posts a modified version... yeah. 

EDIT: Oh, almost forgot to add this.
We'll probably release all these fixes when Toady One releases 0.3x.yy (probably 0.32.3 ), i.e. the next  stable version.

Okay so creating a (VERY SOON) update to Lazy Newb Pack with the current version.

Guys, I haven't been paying a ton of attention to things lately, so the following things have thrown me off and makes this update slightly trickier:

-Phoebus has a cool tileset customizer (it ONLY creates a custom Phoebus set) but i'm not sure how to integrate it into LNP.
-DFHack is INTEGRATED into DF now, and has no separate executables. It runs automatically when DF runs now!
-New version of Stonsense is included with DFHack, but must be launched through DFHack and not through LNP.

One thing you may want to mention somewhere. In stonesense, I put in a thing that hides stuff that's behind other stuff, so it's way fast, but it's not perfect, so it hides more than it should. To get around this, press 'O' when in stonesense, and everything will be slower, but you will see everything.
