Wrong. I'm a real man and I don't use darkling. QED.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

This has been stuck on my screen for several hours. It is small, but very very obnoxious.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
I got that too.  Switching Windows themes will make it go away without a restart.

It has to do with restarting a certain process, iirc.

Almost every site I've been on today, from news sites to game sites, I get redirected by ads to an obviously fake page claiming that my Java is outdated, and that I need to update it to proceed.

The URL is obviously fake, and this "newest version" happens to be fairly old.

They could fix that issue by claiming this version of Java is the Super Ultra Mega version, that trumps all versions designated by mundane numbers.
