I wonder how much Daylight Savings Time costs the world in lost productivity from people being late to things?

Probably a fair amount.

Daylight Savings Time. It's an annoying and useless holdover from long ago.

You know it's bad when even an abomination from beyond time and space gets enraged over it :X

Daylight Savings Time. It's an annoying and useless holdover from long ago.
It's a +1 advance in hour, and...it'll reset by -1 hour later on, right?
I haven't experienced it here so just curious for those countries that still do.

Yup. Clock will go from 1:59am to 3:00am. In autumn, it goes from 1:59am to 1:00am. It's... rather annoying.

But doesn't that also...add 1 hour (of sleep) to balance it out?
It's at a time when much day stuff doesn't happen.

Still annoying to adjust sleep schedules by an hour, in either direction. Just mass confusion and sleep disruption, twice a year.

If I remember correctly, the original reason for implementing it was something to do with farms and daylight. Now that we're not really an agriculture-based society, it's not worth it.

I somehow managed to vampirize my sleeping schedule over the course of the last few days.

I'm not looking forward to fixing that.
