I don't really know if there are many things you can do on a weekend that are more important than representing your county in a competition.
...representing my county in another competition?  But the other one also has scholarship money involved?

There's nothing more annoying than a subjective question with an "objective" answer.

That's like asking the mood of a poem. Sure, in some cases the mood is obvious, but people's choices will be influenced by their mood. It becomes much worse when all of the options apply and you're supposed to pick the "best" answer, which is just stupid.

It may seem like that, but I've had enough moron teachers to know that any question that could possibly be subjective, will be, and usually not in the sway of common sense.

Oh. didn't notice the context. Sorry.

I though that was your RRRAGE. Didn't see the discussion on tests above it.

Not that I was angry to begin with, but I can't see myself being angry upon seeing that avatar.

Hmm. Well, is that subjective? Historians probably agree on which of those was most important.

See, if I made that question, it would be a written question where you would be expected to defend your opinion in essay form.

I remember one question on a test that went something along the lines of "which of the following scientists argued that people's minds are divided into multiple aspects".

The possible answers were Sigmund Freud, George Mead, Charles Cooley, and another that I forget the name of.

This is a problem as both Freud and Mead had the theories of the Id/Ego/Super-ego and the I/Me.

Planetside 2.  Such an enjoyable game concept.

  • Then I unload an entire magazine into somebody 2 feet away from me only to get 2 shot back.  ...pretty consistently too.  If I don't have the jump on them, they win.  Sometimes even then.
  • Then I get enough certs to buy a homing rocket launcher ...and it seems completely incapable of killing any of the vehicles or aircraft it's supposed to be made to kill.  Comparing the damage information I get once I get killed I would need more rockets than I can carry to kill the lightest tank I can find, and the light aircraft quickly maneuver out of range land repair and come back once they get hit.
  • Then I save up certs for a week to get some C4.  Which finally does some significant damage.  But I can only carry one at a time before having to go back and resupply, and it is also incapable of killing a sunderer which is pretty much the only thing that stays still long enough for me to apply it to.  And they get fully repaired in half the time it takes me to resupply.
I so much want to love this game but every play session I come away from angry.

(1) That's the unfortunate side-effect of having upgrades in the game. Not all guns are made equal, because even if you both have the same gun, the guy that played longer has a few upgrades on it that make it more accurate and damaging. Plus, they probably certed out the damage reduction thing. My guess is that most of your full magazine actually didn't hit the guy because you were squeezing full auto >_<

(2) You actually do need to have a ton of missiles to kill things. The point is that an engineer supposedly drops an ammo box so you can get infinite missiles and cooperatively shoot tanks to death. Airplanes are more easily killed with flak (MAXes, main battle tank vulcans, Sundies etc). Also, aircraft often have that annoying cert where they heal naturally over time.

(3) You need to cert more of the C4 upgrade so that yo ucan carry 3. Then you can attach 3 to a sundy and blow them up in one hit.

Overall, you probably want to join a squad and maybe even a platoon for more fun. It's easier when you have a leader that tells you where to go and leads you to victory :D

By the way, you should initially put certs into class upgrades instead of weapons and utility items. The nanoweave armor is a must-have for firefights, and you probably want a Forward Grip on your SMGs to start winning in equal fights. Also, get ALL the 1 cert upgrades, even on vehicles.
