I've gotten three calls already from some idiots from some political survey all but demanding I give them my opinion on Obama. They apparently aren't too happy with the idea that I don't have an opinion, don't want to give one, or that I don't spend all day discussing politics with friends and family(they actually said that last one). First they said they were doing a survey on cell phone users, and that my number was drawn from random. Seeing as that's two lies right there, I'm sure it's understandable that I don't believe them when they say they aren't going to use it against me. If they call again, I'll threaten to file harassment charges, and if they call after that I'll do it.

Also, the morning supervisor and the new girl tried to do my job for me before I get to work. Again. With similar results as last time. I'd really wish they stop doing that.

When you have a caller who you want to discourage, tell them their call will be recorded for quality assurance purposes. If they ask what that means, say that people who have shit for brains typically hang up after that. Here is the magic: if they hang up, it will hit them a bit later that they were admitting they had the shit for the brains. If the continue, you employ your next annoying strategy.

The main thing is, you have to find ways of enjoying screwing with them, that way it never feels like a waste of time to you. Incoming call from an unknown number? Hot damn Martha, we got one!

Just heard a little kid at karate today say:

"Japan is China!"

Not as bad as a highschool senior class calling Old English (we were reading Beowulf) Chinese.

Was he perhaps trying to say "It's all Greek to me!", but subbing in a different language?

At elementary school, me and my friends finally figured out China and Japan: One had ninjas, the other samurai. I don't think we could ever decide on which one had which though.

China had Lü Bu. I think I speak for all right minded individuals when I say that is all that needs to be known.

Dutchling, that's great and all, but... Those are both Japanese.

I don't think you and your friends were all that smart.

Do note where I said class. It was most of the class.

And they said it in response to hearing it read aloud (by some narrator who could actually pronounce it properly), too.

Okay this is very annoying and I wanna air it out.

Today I woke up feeling more tired than usual, for like the third day in a row. Olga was worried enough with some other things that I went to get checked out early, since I had an appointment later this week. That was like at 6am, it took like nearly 6 fucking hours.

Things looked bad, really bad. Like "You're dying" bad. According to the doctor that was available. So I've been a nervous wreck all day. So much so I called my actual registered doctor early, he got sent everything the other doctor took and checked.

He said everything looked wrong, like if everything came from someone other than me. I'm pretty sure it came from someone other than me since I actually do have a very minor pacemaker making up for my heart defects. The stuff the other doctor sent? Did NOT account for it. Wasn't visible. Nothing

So I've been a nervous wreck over thinking I was going to fucking die all day. What the fuck. Seriously.

If I ever see that doctor again, I'm going to yank out his spine and beat everything he loves with it.

I ripped out someone's spine two days ago.  For a student film.

Sorry about your anxiety.  I've gone a tiny way towards that (this year I got a lump in my armpit and mistakenly thought I had cancer) but I didn't have a doctor leading me on.

...I wonder if that doctor was a newbie or whatever, or perhaps there's a tiny discrepancy in which said doctor didn't take second opinions (as in. I hear these stories at times...) because...wow. That's a total case of bad practice. :x
