So what music actually works on youtube in Germany, then? That seems rather vague.

Music not on youtube, pretty much.

I thought Pandora only worked in the Americas.

Well, it works for me. In 'murrica. Of course it works everywhere else. :P

Anyway, I checked up on my glasses today, and they actually came in!

They were untinted. Again. HURGLBLRGL. How hard is it to read a sheet that says, "Sent back - Needs Yellow Tint." Srsly.

So we went into the optimistic today to see if my damn glasses had come in yet, after pretty much ages. They tap a few keys into their computer, then go check a large cupboard and pull them out of the back somewhere. On checking their records, turns out they did in fact call us, and my younger sister got to the phone first and said she would pass on the message.

Damn siblings. Not giving a damn for even passing on important messages!

Yup. To cut down on eye fatigue when working long hours on a computer, to improve overall mood, and to increase focus.

What, you expect people who manufacture reading glasses to themselves be able to read??

I thought that was pink and yellow was for people in sports. Which is why you see all those yellow-tinted googles for dirtbike racers and professional shooters and so on.

Well, that was the effects that I felt when I had a pair of yellow tinted safety glasses when I was a factory worker. *shrug* For all I know, it could be a placebo.

I thought people just tinted them to look cool.

A friend of mine got some glasses that filtered out blue hues; supposed to help with insomnia for those who spend a lot of time on the computer.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

...
Is that a thing? Maybe I should look into that, as total inability to sleep is sort of an issue right now.

Indeedy. You're supposed to do without "forced light" (light from electronic sources, like video games, tvs and computer screens,) for an hour before you go to bed.

Pffffhehehehe!

Yeah, I think that blue light informs your brain that it's wonderful wonderful daytime and going to sleep now is absolutely ridiculous. At least that's the theory.

It's especially bad if you have a laptop and use it in bed which turns your bed into a comfy computer chair rather than a place for sleep.
