If it were, it would be hard to use it to fight evil. That is, unless the supervillain was some kind of sexually active farm animal.

I doubt having sex with a villain defeats them, even if they are sexually active animals.

It does if the animals are celibate priests.

Friend bought Resident Evil 6 specifically for split screen multiplayer.

Except it seems they decided to try something fancy with the split screen giving each player a little over 1/4th of the screen instead of half the screen, supposedly to preserve the aspect ratio instead of just doing what every other splitscreen game in history has done.  The rest is blacked out.

He does not have a big screen TV, so we are actually struggling to make out what we are looking at from a foot away from the screen.  And how dark the game is doesn't help.  We played for about 10 minutes on normal brightness settings before we determined that it was completely unplayable in that state, before cranking all the brightness settings to the max.   Even then everything is so small that even at moderate distance I can't tell Chris Redfield from a zombie(I shot him, multiple times without knowing it was the other player), or even make out my reticule.

It is a setting that cannot be changed.  Apparently RE5 had the same thing, but it switched to normal splitscreen when it detected a small TV (somehow).  This does not.  Why did they think this is a good idea?  I'm suspecting that they feel cheated by people playing splitscreen, so they want to make that experience as bad as possible to force people to buy 2 copies.

Never assume malice where ignorance will suffice.
It would not surprise me if the team making the game had these fucking giant screens to test with and they thought to themselves 'Hey you know what would be cool? If we did that thing where we waste all the screen with blank space. Don't worry, there is clearly plenty of room!' and the real world just never occurred to them...

Don't let him walk over you. If he wants to have a couch he can store it in his own space.

Don't worry, he'll probably get a noise violation quickly.

Stupid regional restrictions driving me to piracy.  I mean, I WANT to give you my money, I really do, but you won't LET me.  It boggles the mind.

I don't understand why I can't buy the books, music, movies, or video games I want in their native language without jumping through a bunch of bullshit hoops.  Instead I have to use shipping forwarders, proxies, and made up addresses to simply buy stuff.  I've yet to hear a good reason for any of this crap.

I bought the older X-com games, but I have no idea how in hell I'm supposed to do any battles, and there are no tutorials on it that I can find.

Rage at the ridiculously unintuitive GUI! And the lack of a tutorial!
Once you figure it out, you'll be hooked.

Also, try this or something like it.
Also, X-COMUtil. Though just using everything from it might be cheating a bit, its called util(ity) for a reason.
