Hitmen are cheaper than you'd think, you know?

I should stop advocating murder as a one-size-fits-all solution.
Yeah, it's more of a makes-all-fit-one-size solution.
sigged.

And Descan, I think we call all agree your brother is a terrible, terrible person.

Sigtext. Enticing, yes? If you do not know where things I have "sigged" go, this page will explain.

Are we really going through this schtick again?

He has a link to the sigtext thread. Because he had to sig so much stuff that it wouldn't normally fit into his sig.

I actually don't have that much yet, I just wanted to get the sigtext post over with from the start.

Which... isn't a sig. That extra stuff. It's, like. A quotes file. Saying compilation. Witticism cistern. I like that. Witticism cistern.

S'fine and dandy! Just... not sig. That other stuff.

Sigtext thread OP should rename it the witticism cistern thread.

"Witticistern", clearly.

And I've corrected my signature to clear up future confusion. Thank you for your patronage :) .

Spoiler: rant (click to show/hide)
That's a very good start to your dystopian epic. I mean, it is fiction, right? ...Right? (Seriously, that's not cool. I don't even.)

I will never approve of the sigtext thread. Never.
I'm with Furtuka. Why? It seems like an absolutely useless thing to be pissed about.

The sigtext thread trivializes the statements that people sig only to post in the thread.
Consider your signature at the bottom of your post prime real estate. Only the best of the best goes there because anything less will get replaced. These are the true gems produced by the community. These are the shining beacons of verbal grandeur.

Now water down that space to a theoretically infinite amount. It is no longer saved for the best of the best; something only mildly entertaining will suffice. It also demands that any viewer must first click the link to view the list of (potentially) mediocre sigtexts rather than openingly displaying them like a trophy.

Still, yeah, doesn't do any real harm, so there's no real use (from my perspective) in being terribly upset about it.

To be completely fair, Japa never said Japa was pissed, just that Japa didn't and won't approve of it. That itself does not really imply being pissed off.

Also, sorry for the lack of pronouns, Japa. I don't wanna assume the existence or nonexistence of any penises, so I figured I'd just do it this way.

But what if you've found simply too many glorious quotes to contain and you don't want to lose the old quotes?

Make new sigs, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.
New-made sigships, like new wine,
Age will mellow and refine.
Sigss that have stood the test-
Time and change-are surely best;
Brow may wrinkle, hair grow gray;
sigs never knows decay.
For 'mid old sigs, tried and true,
Once more we our youth renew.
But old sigs, alas! may die;
New sigs must their place supply.
Cherish sigs in your breast-
New is good, but old is best;
Make new sigs, but keep the old;
Those are silver, these are gold.
