Sounds fairly standard for Northern Ireland, a bit warm maybe.

So basically Piers Morgan is a giant asshole and a pretty good example of how not to be an ally. Also Janet Mock is an absolute saint for putting up with him and being the bigger person.

I liked that line from "Going Postal" (quoting from memory):
"We don't do equal opportunities employment, because we never heard of it. But we'll give a job to anyone that can deliver a letter."
What I'm trying to say: I hope people like that guy Allee is talking about die out soon, so we can get on with really important stuff instead of spending so much time advocating something that ought to go without saying.

Only in Oklahoma could ”20 degrees (-6 C) and drizzling” be a weather condition.
You have obviously never been to the UK then.
We're very drippy here.

Wish I had an instrument to play, but all I have is my ukulele and my useless fucking ears are too deaf to tune the damn thing.

Eh, y'know, the only way to fix that problem is to play, and there are plenty of free tuners available.

Also, now I'm curious how a distorted ukulele would sound.

The fudge, wordpress. I made this really long post and posted it, but you say it's not there? It even said "Published" right next to the 'post status' thingy, and I saw in on my homepage a moment, but now it's gone. I spent fifty minutes writing it -_-

Screw this blog business, I have better things to do. Time to procrastinate to another day.

Math exam today. One of the biggest point bringing problems was a graph that you need to analyze (well more of a function that you analyze and draw the graph of). Now I like doing that, it's fun and varied, and especially the graph drawing part is fun. This time though it was infuriating.

What do you do when an apparently correct solution (that others got too) is defying logic. When the graph is shooting up into infinity, despite that pesky negative X in it that should bring it down into negative infinity. I have no idea, but I sketched what the solution said I should and called it quits, because one can only take so much bullshit from math before getting the need to murder people.

That sounds possible. What was the function, do you recall?

X*e1/x2

Right side of it was fairly easy to figure out, but the left side and the left asymptote was hell.

But that function is antisymmetrical, so what's the difference between the right and left side?

It seems pretty simple to me, the left side shoots down to negative infinity, and the right shoots up to positive infinity.

I had a bit of trouble figuring the math to do the limits since its been a while, but even without the math its pretty clear that e^(1/(x^2)) goes to positive infinity far far faster then X goes to 0, so X*e^(1/(x^2)) has lim (x->0-)=-infinity, and lim(x->0+)=inifinity

Man I dunno why but I'm in a black mood today. I feel fearful and put upon and just generally.....like I never should have gotten out of bed. Having a rocky night's sleep probably didn't help but I usually bounce back from that around midday. But the sense of ughhhhhh has just continued all day long today.
