Blatantly taking advantage of 12-year-olds.  Huzzah.
How is this taking advantage of 12-year-olds? Do 12-year-olds even have credit cards to buy this?

Twelve year olds who have rich, foolish parents probably do.

You should never give a child a credit card. O_o

And ye, it isn't stupidly hard for a kid to make a steam account.

Also, in the add-to-cart box it says "buy mange maker." This amuses me to no end.

Anyone who thinks this produces "professional manga" is probably about 12 and knows nothing about the conventions of the genre.

So if someone sells something you don't approve of it's "taking advantage of people who are not as smart as me"?

How does this "manga maker" even work?

Selling stuff is heavily based around lying. There's a reason a stereotypical salesman is sleazy.

I'm on vector's side here :P

Why the hell is garbage like that on steam?

It looks like you put various cartoons in boxes and add text?

Not entirely sure why anyone would want to buy that >.<

Yeah, Valve's been getting more lax about that. Intentionally, mind. For example, they're canning (or did they already?) steam greenlight in lieu of just kinda relaxing their inclusion policies.

Good thing, too. I wouldn't want Steam to be deprived of all the manga maker software they could be making big bucks on.

"Easily make manga without drawing?" Ick, that pretty much sucks all the fun out of it and defeats the entire purpose of the comic/manga medium in the first place. Just write a book instead.

From what I know about that 3d manga thing it's a sorta... 3d poser that comes with some customizable anime school character models. It's apparently had some dlc and other things and has already existed for a few years, not exactly sure why it's going out on steam now. At the very least It seems to support importing models and objects so maybe using it's engine and using original content would be a reasonably cheap posing program if you wanted to make a 3d rendered webcomic or something. Oddly enough this is something I considered doing off and on with 3D custom girl, which is well... A hentai game with a surpisingly competent poser. The poser being the entire reason I have it installed still (Plus the mod community, tons and tons of stuff).

I personally think it's overpriced but I guess if you wanted to make 3d moe school comics it's alright. I know Owlga reads the hell out of a webcomic on tumblr that's been made with it, though the real draw of THAT one is more the absurd writing than anything. (The guy who writes it has also posted on the steam message boards that you may want to avoid it if you can't import your own assets and don't wanna make schoolgirl moe comics, but if you do that it's fairly solid. So there's also that)

Might be a little questionable, but at least it's not a shovelware mundane sim like United Independent Entertainment keeps shitting onto steam. Or Rambo the Videogame.
