Not the emotions themselves, but the actions caused by said emotions might. Or something.
I wouldn't know, I try to avoid them where possible myself. :P

Sometimes I feel like I shouldn't let people close to me because they keep making me feel emotions and emotions make me dumb.
Oh good, I'm not the only one who gets a case of the dumb dumbs from emotions. Internet high five!

I have been trying to go to bed for the past hour and a half, but can't because I keep shooting up because of a bed shaking cough. I'm not sure if I'm sick, since the only symptom I have is the coughing. It's not letting me sleep.

How can I get rid of it? I can't get cough syrup or cough drops for reasons.

Garlic tea?

EDIT: I googled it, which made me realize that I have the internet at my disposal. I am now researching ways to deal with my cough, though would still like tips from anyone reading this.

Fortified with the power of

Buckwheat Honey

Also you make it by putting a clove or two of crushed garlic into boiling-hot water with honey and lemon juice. I have a preferred type of honey for this magical drink, which you might somehow be able to divine from this post >__________>

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

If you were Surgeon General they'd probably be giving Garlic Tea to people with leg fractures.
