Some politicians are the Antichrist and therefore not christian.
Also I don't think reptiles are christian so there's that.

Some people say they are Christian but don't follow the teachings that are Christian and instead subvert them for their own gains and/or be very, very picky so as to be 'right'. :v
I mean some choose not to follow the Golden Rule of all things and begin denouncing//hating//dehumanizing other people..."In God's name/will" as an example case. >_>

If any American politician was practicing a religion other than Christianity, they'd be outvoted by a long shot.

Yaaaaay equality :P

are they, now? all of them?

careful with your wordin m8
All the ones that actually matter, yes. I think there's a few jews and non-religious (maybe even a few buddhist/hindu or a muslim* or two) in one-off seats and whatnot, but as a incredibly rarely violated rule, every politician actually holding a position in the states at least claims to be some variation of christian. We're talking better than 90% saturation. Christians are actually better represented in the political arena than they are demographically, last I checked. Admittedly, it's been a bit since I actually hunted up numbers and a lot of them don't really go much beyond claiming it, but... yeah.

*Well, maybe a few more decades from now, anyway.

Actually, since the American politicians are reptile aliens, they all worship Raptor Jesus.

Not even that, if you aren't the right christian then you got problems too :P

I heard all of the wacky stories in class when Kennedy became president.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

As an example. No, it's not the newest one, but I'm not gonna google for it all day.  :P
From this 90.3% of politicians in congress are some kind of Christian. The next largest group is jewish at 7.3%.

0% admit that they are atheist.

It's a Christian country. Unlike Britain, despite what David Cameron might claim, the daft bastard.

There actually was an openly atheist member of Congress until the last election- Pete Stark of California. His son was actually one of my friends, although we don't talk much now.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

This. This SO FUCKING MUCH.

Reminds me of the time when Obama kept getting harassed because he was accused of the horrible crime of being a Muslim, and nobody ever stopped to wonder what would be so horrible about it. He hadn't even done anything wrong, but people started saying stuff like "ERMAGERD IMPEACH IMPEACH" simply because there was a rumor that he might worship Islam.

You don't worship a religion :P
Maybe you don't. I'm a Pastafarianian.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
