I bet it's the archers.

Please tell me it's the archers.
That one part was probably the most frustrating part of the entire game.

I didn't think so, but I guess it's highly dependent on what you were playing. Shield blocking character, not so bad. Dex fighter with no ranged attacks? Pain.

As a Shield fighter, I spent far more time in like, Sen's Fortress, than I did in mot of Anor Londo.

Even with a shield, I still struggled a lot with getting knocked off of the causeways.

It was a little hit or miss at first, yeah. But I found if I just rushed him, and either got a parry off, or just managed to block the first attack or two, he'd knock himself off.

Asthma symptoms woke me up and are now preventing me from getting back to sleep. >:(
I haven't had an asthma attack in a long time, which suggests to me it's my lack of exercise and poor diet of late that's to blame.

Edit: Fuck, it's getting worse. I haven't needed an inhaler for years so I don't have one.
Also my computer is being really dodgy for some reason. If you never hear from me again, I most likely died when my respiratory system and my internet connection both decided to fuck off and stop working at the same time.
Truly a terrible way to go. :P

Yeah, that's your <consult medical professional> point. If it hasn't been giving you trouble for years, there's a decently non-zero chance your asthma symptoms aren't caused by asthma. Plenty of other stuff that could be screwing you, best get it checked out.

It's okay, I doubt I'm gonna die or pass out or anything. :)
I had a drink of coffee (don't ask me why that helps with my asthma, but it does) and listened to some calming music and I have it more under control. I'll wait til sunrise and go for a walk, and if this keeps up (or happens again) I'll go to the hospital.
The main thing, though, is that I need to change my living situation so that it stops making me both physically and mentally unhealthy.

Every now and then, I am reminded why I will never move to the USoA.

Land of the free, indeed. I am reminded of parts of this scene, although it's mostly about immigration.

Buy poison arrows, and get out of their firing range. Even though your arrows won't do damage at that range, the poison will still take effect.

So, in my music class, we have this 'recorder karate' thing going on, with various songs representing belts. Today was my final exam. We had to pick a random paper, and the paper would have a stain of the belt color of whatever song we had to play in the recorder.
I grabbed a paper. It was blank. White belt. Easiest song. Not bad, I can easily manage purple belt and higher without taking more than 10 minutes of practice.

Guess what happened immediately afterward?
Panic Attack.
I took many tries to even start it, and then I just barely made it. Let me repeat: I can easily manage purple belt or higher, so long as I'm calm. However, as soon as I'm told I'm being tested, my brain shuts down.

Y U NO WORK BRAIN

The way you capitalized it made me think you were supposed to transcribe THIS at first.

I got a buddy who has the Black Bow of Pharis and the Ring of Fog. Those bastards didn't stand a chance.

Be warned, Facebook comments! Somehow worse than Yahoo! comments! But somehow more alluring to read, in between the retching.

I love the apologists saying that a little 10 year old girl dying is a good thing. It makes me all warm and fuzzy. Yeah.
