Man rage is exhausting. Why does everyone do it?

That makes no sense. Just don't rage and then you don't have to rage.

Xantalos gets the point. Emotions 'tone down' on their own. Rage, included.
[Example: Why is it that people say 'calm down, take a day's rest' after a generally problematic event happened? It rests the brain--it unfocuses the thoughts. Said emotions may return when the situation is refocused on by thoughts once more. In which in that span of time, several coping methods {to be technical with terms, though most aren't...err, technically 'coping' more than 'ways of thought'} could be offered if none are known beforehand.]

exhaustion lets you sleep

sleep resets emotions

people rage so that their emotions are cleared
This is a fallacy. Or, in as much a fallacy as the knowledge that one can circumvent or utterly stave off rage in a situation wherein rage is muchly had, by many different methods.

Methods of which I leave vague so personal research could be done.

I see rage as a thing that reduce inhibitions and encourage aggression when your body decides that you need to do something to get out of a certain unfortunate situation.

Unfortunately most of the time said situation is better solved calmly, but your body is outdated by several thousand of years so you can't really blame it anything and the only thing you can do is to learn to repress it.

On the other hand, people would also say that repressing your natural instincts is a bad thing.

All I would say is that everything need a balance and must be kept in moderation. That's why you need to balance between emotions and practicality. In combat situations obviously the more calm people win because our aggressive urges are not adapted to combat with an intelligent individual.

One could say that humans are elevated above other animals because we have less emotions and are more capable of analysis. However, if we get too little emotion we end up annoying our brain.

Horrible night, barely got any sleep. First at around 1:00 I hear gunshots in the distance, which then starts getting progressively closer. All shots seemed to have come from the same source, basedon the sound and absence of other sounds.that kept up for an hour. Then there is a bunch of shouting outside, someone hitting the building gate. Then someone kept trying to start some shitty, and loud, engine. Then the person I share the room with starts snoring. And then its morning and I got class.

I call a law firm to try and get a consultation over the phone. Both attempts at calling:

"Thank you for calling [REDACTED]. If you know the extention of the party you are trying to reach, dial that now. Otherwise, dial '0' and an operator will soon assist you."

That's both hilarious and rage-worthy at the same time. Kudos to the system programmer.

...they don't know how a clock works in telling the time? Do you attend a school for the under 70 IQs?
