Sweet blue hell but I hate hate hate hate hate driving large vehicles. The larger civvie trucks, etc. It's like there's no state of being with the goddamn things except going into traffic or going off the road, because you have no fucking room to maneuver without doing one or the other. I've now got a splitting headache and stress shakes, damnit all.

I would and will do it again if it means my grandfather's not driving himself around, but bloody fuck would my life be happier if they all spontaneously combusted the next time the driver leaves them.

You could make that happen. Just depends on how strictly you want to define 'spontaneous'.

What, like a U-Haul? An SUV? Hummer, maybe?

This one was some variation of ram. Bigger than your average U-Haul, honestly. Roughly the same size as an SUV, I guess. Not far from a hummer. One of those excessively large trucks sterotypeable as the sort rural men buy because their dick doesn't operate up to their expectations, basically.

Haven't drove any of those you mentioned, though. Sincerely hope I never do. Give me a nice, sane sized station wagon or something. Whatever means I don't spend the entire time feeling like I'm threading a needle made of flaming death and mangled wreckage.

Doesn't help that most of the roads around here are two lane, and some of them... rather small, still.

Ah, okay. I've been in Rams before, they're a pretty good size. Never driven one though. Is the view really restrictive or something?

More restrictive than I'm used to, but it's mostly just a matter of the bloody thing being too gorram big. It's like... something like a foot or two wider on either side than what I'm used to driving, and large enough there is not much wiggle room on these roads. The difference between a second and two or three seconds of inattention or whathaveyou putting you in a ditch or oncoming traffic is freaking huge. Especially to my nerves.

It's, like. Driving is fairly stressful as it is, but when minute arm shifts set you to braille driving shit is too much. Don't have to deal with that shit when the vehicle is not a penile compensator.

What would the premise even be? Weird alien sex romcom?

With more guns.

And blast the pesky aliens to high hell.

Then the movie turns into a post apocalyptic survival horror IN SPAAACE.
