Mind you, the little radioactive signs surrounding you're spaceship are EM storms/Heavy Radiation[Found under the moon's special part.

I agree with tarrens pos, but first we need biospheres for us, so we can survive untill terraforming happens

Hehehe. I just noticed I said "Let's get to it" twice. Well, I should have paid more attention when editing.

Also: Anyone up for colonizing the moon after we have a good position on the planet?

Also also: Let's name the planet. I vote for "Hope".

I agree with hope, and i thought we were on the moon, nevermind i agree we should colonise the parts closest to us first

We ARE on the moon. What made you guys think we weren't?

"Sir," The XO says as he hands you a report and you start looking over it, "We encountered very heavy radiation upon entering the planet's orbit. It seems this planet has.. Electromagnetic storms, and heavy radiation. It is, however, a surprising candidate for terraformation to a basic degree at least. A lot of microbes and a few fungi-heavy areas, you wouldn't think it by looking at it from orbit but from looking at the history books, Sci-ward says it's in an early stage identical to Earth in it's early stages."

Seeing we are on the moon, we would/should recieve all the raditation that the planet is getting as well. (Maybe not the electromagnetic storms.)

I'll correct my earlier post.

The reason we thought we were on the planet is because you were talking all about the planet and not about the moon! you never once mentioned the moon in your post.

Designate a stockpile and build a barracks. Oh, and dismantle the wagon!
Construct warehouses and safely store everything, with shielding for anything that would be sensitive to the storms, and build habitation modules to simplify the operations aboard the ship, not to mention the hazards involved in keeping your entire population in a hostile atmosphere protected only by a comparatively thin layer of metal that has just been fired from orbit...
Oh, and scavenge and secure any valuable components of the ship that are no longer in use, such as the flight controls and engine electronics...
