So, after playing a little, I have two questions.
1) When I press f11, everything goes back to normal. My matrix is gone! Any way to change this?
2) Are you planning on ever making the lower case lessers a little less readable? Not as much as upper case, but a bit, because I'm up for that!

Apart from that, if these two issues are resolved, I hope to make this my stardard tileset, and maybe standard computer font.

solution for #1: change the FULLFONT line in init.txt ;)

You need to perform some tests. Play DF in a public place with default ASCII, then with this tileset. Record the percentage and types of WTF from each.

Honestly, you know that feeling of "Ooh, what the hell is that?" No, of corse you don't, you have long forgot what it was like the first time you played DF. Well it is like that, Once again, I'm clueless as to what I am looking at, and spending half my time with 'k', it's great!

I think both 'g' and 'e' should have a fancy lower case letter.

Sometimes, the twisted mindset of DF players almost scares me...  ;)

Yeah, learning to use this tileset is just like learning the regular ASCII tileset when you first played DF. All you're doing is learning which symbol means what, and after a while you'll be able to use it without resorting to 'k' as much just like with the ASCII tileset.

Centration. Similar to Spacestation 13, but in 3D and first-person. Sounds damn awesome.
NanoTrasen Exploratory Team: SS13 in DF.

I'll add my voice to the request for a square version. 16x16 is fine, I just want it square. I guess adding a single pixel of padding to the left and right of each existing tile would satisfy that well.

I generally play fullscreen, so this is a very nice thing to have when playing in public.

Well we could be all up in arms about how we shouldn't be all eletist and try to promote the game in a user freindly way, to get others to take intest and play... but lets be honest, there is a awesome feeling of somebody unable to understand what you read like a book.

The first step is to be able to read the code.

Interesting note: Elf bowmen are really hard to pick out from grass and trees with this tileset.
