I am an Asian and I eat rice almost everyday (I did everyday before I moved to Aussie). I treat it like potato, so I'd eat grilled chicken or KFC with it.

CURRY.

I can't believe it took until reply 30 for someone to say that.

CURRY WITH RICE iS DELICIOUS. EAT IT.

Yes, curry is the standby. Also, those sprinkles japanese people use. I don't know what they are called. They are just delicious sprinkles. They come in beef and seaweed and tuna flavour and they are sprinkles and they are delicious.

It isn't, he's joshing us. Although he might be one of those people who say ketchup goes good with eggs.

 And my mother used to crack a raw egg onto her rice.

Okay, I learned this from someone who doesn't normally eat rice:
1. Cook rice, when ready, put it in a microwaveable bowl;
2. Crack raw egg and pour the content into the bowl, mix evenly with the rice;
3. Add canned tuna (I like spicy one) into the bowl, again, mix well;
4. Microwave it until the egg is cooked

Try adding chunks of meat (your pick) to rice. It adds a bit of variety and protein.

Ketchup can go with eggs. Put eggs, cheese, sausage or bacon, hash browns or potatoes, and ketchup for an excellent breakfast from hillbilly hell.

A bowl of rice, cooked mince, and a tablespoon of Vietnamese sauce (nuoc cham) and peanut butter. microwave for a minute and you have a tasty beef asian satay.
