Ugh, Cataclysm. Alright.... one.. more.. time... I like WoW, but I hate the people who play it. I've never seen such a group of rude, self interested, self important, snot-nosed juveniles. The content is without precedent in terms of quality, yet it is all ruined by these barbarians. I can't stand the community there.

Speaking of DF influence, I think I saw a great deal of that in Dragon Age: Origins. Cruel, arbitrary nobles, 'Paragons' who gained special status for some creation or another, interesting.

There is no way all 11.5 million players share those qualities; I would suggest it's not even close.

On topic: That's an awesome find, and it's nice to know at least one person on the WoW dev team plays Dwarf Fortress.

1) The biggest MMO is putting a easter egg conversation referring to DF. That in itself is amazing.
