Hectonkhyres cancels having sex with girlfriend: Playing Dwarf Fortress.

That's fine, apparently you can breed via airborne transmission anyway.

I, too, have taken to measuring things of unknown units in Urists, calling people Mc(job), or calling the drive-through guys Grillsmith.

I also stand a healthy distance away from the garage door when opening or closing it.

Magma can stop anything and solve any problem. It is the answer to life, the universe, and everything. Magma=42.

Or maybe there's a god who's just completely insane and sends you to Detroit, Michigan in a new body if you ever utter the name "Pat Sajak".

Thanks to one of the SA succession games (I think it was Headshoots), I actually called a girl an annoying cuntsmith once.  She looked at once bemused, offended, and about to cry.

In my defense, she was being an annoying cuntsmith.

Carpal tunnel here, too.

Worth it.

Insomnia and possible Carpal Tunnel. Definitely worth it. I do sort of wish I could sleep, though.

I read that as "carp tunnel" at first. Even though it wasn't what you said, I bow to your tunnel in fear.

The other day I was reading World War Z, a novel about a zombie apocalypse. When they were talking about the billion-strong horde, all I could think was "I bet they have terrible FPS."

If dwarves decided to live in trees like hippies, they'd still do it better than the elves.

^ I remember the bit where the army guy was complaining about digging ditches in biohazard suits, and thought "Tell that to the dwarves digging out my magma forge sources."

That's the great thing about this forum. We can derail any discussion into any other topic.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.
