MUD Codebase

I'm looking for an easy to use MUD codebase with good documentation.  I don't plan on doing any coding, just area building, so I'd prefer one with a number of good ready to use features.  About a year ago I downloaded a Smaug codebase and slowly built a few areas over the past year.  I don't know if I want to continue down that path, though.  I've found the documentation to be lacking in some areas.

I'd like to build a hack-and-slash type of MUD so if there's one with general guidelines for mob/object balance that would be great too.  Any suggestions?

It's got OLC and many other features. Take a look at the list.

Wow, this looks like everything I'm looking for.

Now, I've built a few zones in Smaug, do you know how easy it will be to convert them to this new codebase?
