Pedestal building

I was thinking, I'd like to be able to build pedestals or display cases or something to display non-furniture items. Basically just something that would work like cages, except holding finished goods, weapons, and armor instead of animals so that dwarves can get happy thoughts from admiring them. (Once magic goes in, they could also be useful for placing items that radiate some kind of aura, but that's a ways down the road.)

I think we've gotten suggestions for this before... along with the obvious follow up that you should be able to trap the pedestals in case someone takes the item... and it should cause an enormous ball of stone to come rolling down the corridor.  :)Jokes aside, pedestals (with traps) for displaying (valuable) stuff would be really nice.
