I'm sorry, guys. We have to put Skree down.

Based on what the other giant Oculoid said, it's what Skree would want at this time. He's clearly not going to let us run away, and I don't think it's just the music that calms the weather, I think the organ itself has a lot to do with that. And we can't get to that from here.

It sucks, I know, but:
Wield Stovebrand; put Skree out of his misery

Really, it's the only chance we have right now. If you want to whistle F-A-C-A-D-E while we fight, then whatever, but I'd rather AG be concentrating on not dying rather than whistling.

I say, do anything that will ensure our survival and put Skree to rest.

In any sense.

The other oculoid was missing a quarter of its head, several mouth-tentacles, and had been chained to a wall for who knows how long.

Well, I don't think we CAN put Scree down, so that point is moot. Unlike the previous oculoid, Scree is actively resisting our attempts to kill him. He is in a music-induced berserker rage. I guess we could try attacking him. Maybe he'd run away if the first strike injures him enough? But really, I'd rather not. ._.

>Scamper away from the raging oculoid. Maybe pray or something. And hum the calming song like your artificial, mass-produced life depended on it.

The request from the other occuloid demonstrates that giant occuloids can, in fact, be calm and considerate.

But skree is a new one, and is probably now insane with rage...

And how come now some people other than me are saying 'Put skree to rest'?

I wanted to run right off the bat

But then we played the music box, and Skree is activating Murder-AG-Mode

If we run, we likely die.
If we start humming music (with no precedence for AG having perfect pitch) we likely die.
Skree is utterly pissed, so I highly doubt our emotional empathy bond is going to do much at this point.

If we brandish Stovebrand right now, and pre-emptively run Skree through, we just might make it.

We can avenge Skree later, when we've ensured our short-term survival at least.

Spoiler: Tally (click to show/hide)

Touch Skree.

You make a desperate attempt to try and communicate with Skree, hoping you can calm him down that way.

??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

You are thrown back by an overwhelming convulsive storm of rage, misery, and pain.

Quote
Whistle the calming song from the piano.

You desperately try and whistle FACADE. Your efforts are not very loud.

WAUGH

You are thrown against the ground, hard. Your frame has been bruised a bit.

Stay away from him, and wait for him to calm down, before trying again.

I see no other option, and this pains me to type this...

In tears of rage and sadness, take up your sword... and strike down Skree

I was thinking more along the lines of this legendary champion, all clad in dented and dinged up steel plate, his blood-drenched axe slung over his back, a notch in the handle for every enemy that saw the swing of that blade as the last sight they ever saw, a battered shield strapped over his arm... and a fluffy, pink stuffed hippo hidden discretely in his breastplate.

Okay: Attack!
No.
Also, how is our METAL frame bruised?
Rush out, screaming out the notes of FACADE, in a scream fashion

We can save her/him! We need evasive manuvers, putting him/her down isn't the best way if we got options to exhaust.
