English pen & paper RPGs with a non-English group?

Hey there,

I recently purchased The Shadow of Yesterday and Dogs in the Vineyard (yeah, I know, I’m a bit late to the game). Both are excellent, and I almost need to change my pants when I think about GMing either. However, there’s a problem: I’m the only person in the group whose English is good enough to “grok” Dogs, and TSoY is just a big wall of text to my would-be players. Plus, I’m probably not the best at explaining either.

So, has anybody had a similar problem? :( How did you solve it? (Translating just the necessary bits, translating the whole manual, not bothering with it and running it with the English terms…)
