Is it possible to strangle creatures with objects anymore?

Well, if you have a weapon in your hand, you can grab their throat with it, and then say choke. I guess that'd work.

i know you can grab your opponent WITH a weapon, but then you cant use your hands...

I tried to grab somebodies throat with a bowstring and it said the you grab the xs throat but it acted like I didn't do anything.

The wrestling screen is currently too convoluted and impenetrable for me to really bother with, but from what I understand, grabbing someone only enables other actions, such as breaking bones or strangling. If you grabbed their throat with something, unless they break your grip you should find a strangle option.
