Maybe it's best if we leave it on, clearly Something doesn't like it off.

Maybe we should look and then decide?

Interesting place to get a quotation from, huh.

Glad I'm not the only one catching these.

Check self over, see if you're all there and healthy.

Collect your thoughts, and processions and go downstairs.

Right. Okay. You jump out of bed and pull some clothes out from under it. As you dress, you try to process things. There was... flashes. Static? A deep droning, something screeching. A melody. The man with the orange glasses. The woman with the cyan hair. Who were they? They were married... when? The woman looked familiar to you. Every time you try to remember her face, nothing. Something blocks you. And every time you try to press it - a song. It gives you a headache.

Turn off television.

Maybe it's best if we leave it on, clearly Something doesn't like it off.

Maybe we should look and then decide?

The... television's still on. You notice the light on the console's not on. You peer at the screen.

It's static. You stare at it for a while. Nothing. Is static meant to look like this?

You turn it off. The static was getting to you. You don't even remember turning it- no. No. You've done this before. You tell yourself it's a faulty television. Is it... really still today?

Get out of bed.  Search potted plant for cigarettes.

You check your backpack and find those two packs that you found in the plant in the first place. So... this should still be today. Or tomorrow.

....Mother's not here. She must still be in Archid Village. So it must still be today. She'd have come home straight away if she thought something was wrong with you. Must still be today. Today. You repeat it like a mantra but it's not making you feel any better.

Turn on TV.  Go to news channel.  Make sure that it is today.

Unplug the TV before we go. Just in case. And then go back to the lab.

This all reminds me of a webcomic I read once.(that doesn't seem to be updating anymore...) I can't remember the name, but it was about a kid who encountered missingno... and then it took all the glitches literally.

Been trying to read the message in the static. I can see it, but it's not clear enough to make out; contrast/brightness editing isn't really helping either. Someone else give it a try?

... You can see letters in that?

Hmm... I have a couple ideas.

Edit: So, I sharpened the image a bunch of times, and what I ended up with looked like those "worms" on little clue cards from some game.  I don't remember which, but the answer is in blue, and then you look at it through a red lens and everything suddenly makes sense.

I also tried sharpening and then shrinking, but no good came of that either.  Same with sharpening, inverting, and shrinking in that order.
