Training with Glass Arrows/Bolts
« on: September 25, 2006, 06:55:00 am »

As far as i know there is no limit on the amount of glass available, so it would be nice if my marksdwarves would use some of the glass arrow horde ive been amassing.

And does glass still do 100% damage? because if so, who needs iron bolts?

unlimited green glass blocks too... Next fortress im going to focus on glass items. huzzah for magma.

(Note, "glass portals" seem to be just doors... does anyone know if there's anything special about them?)

Are we even supposed to be able to make green glass bolts?  Last time I checked, they weren't on the normal menu, just the manager...

Yep, they're only buildable on the manager screen.

Well, would you want to have a bedroom with a glass door staring down at your bed?

The glass is green (not too transparent), and the dwarves sleep fully clothed anyway.

It seems glass bolts have been taken out now... Is there a reason for this? I quite liked the idea of sticking someone with a shard of glass.

Would probably make for a nasty crit if it shattered inside them :S
