Armor with creature tags?
« on: August 12, 2010, 01:55:57 pm »

Is it possible for an armor to give a creature new tags while equipped? I ask because I'm working on a dune mod and want stillsuits to add [NO_DRINK] to the equipper.

Sorry, the items are very limited right now, so no magical properties are possible.

Dune mod? Sounds good :).

Aww, multi-tile creatures would be awesome for a Dune mod. Alas!

I know I'll have to possibly try to make a zelda mod if this ever happens.

A suit that gives [NO_BREATHE]
a [FIREIMMUNE]
Yeah...

Yeah...
Well, you could make boots that weigh a metric tonne, no?

Also, do you think this is the sort of direction magic items are going to go in?

Maybe, but wouldn't the creature they go on have to be able to breath under water?

Even if the boots did weigh that much, they'd probably just slow you down and not even sink you.

Well if you remove the [MULTIPLE_LITTER_RARE] tag from dwarves I think they have like 2-4 children each time they give birth. And if you get enough mothers up on the pillars you can probably get a good waterfall going.

I also thought about that.
I just think it would be really cool to have armor that makes it so you don't need to eat.
