Still makes the page hard to read when the length keeps exploding every time an image loads.

We seriously need to start using smaller images. Both in size(length and width) and in size(MB and KB). Also, SPOIL THE IMAGES. I dread loading this thread all the time because of the long loading time and my browser jumping everywhere.
