This one.

Fight fire with fire. Read her texts, read her (e)mail, answer her phone, barge into the bathroom when she's using it, listen in on her conversations with her friends, that kind of thing. She may come to realize that some privacy is needed even in marriage.

Remember, it's impossible to truly detect sarcasm in text.

Well that was just for his wife to read (safe bet she'll read the thread), so she can better imagine how awful it is to be snooped upon.

But seriously, privacy invasion is a pretty bad thing. Relationships are built on trust. If your partner would rather snoop through your phone/computer/whatever than just have an open conversation with you, there's isn't much trust in your relationship.

So recognisable...

My question:
Mine asks "What's wrong with me that you rather spend hours [on B12] talking to strangers on the internet?!"

Answer me how I should answer that... diplomatically.  ::)

On a slightly related note, if you think someone is snooping by looking at your browser history, then horrify them into never doing it again.  You know what I'm talking about...

Just start babbling incessantly about video games and dwarves. Right about the time she can't keep up, she'll realize it's better if you have an outlet for this stuff so she doesn't have to listen to it.

Do not play the "it's about me isn't it?" game. Don't even look or think in that general direction.

And Nikov, is there any chance she's doing this to see if you're saying anything about her? It's not always about infidelity.

Its funny, because immediately after posting I asked her what she was doing and she said she was searching to see why I had been angry at her the day before and trying to see what was wrong. Instead she claims I sounded like such an incredible man all the time, and was so happy to see me showing all the good parts of our relationship and bragging about her. We then had sex, about fifteen or thirty minutes of peace, then had a big argument in which I told her about everything on my mind in the last week and why I'd been so angry. Then she was kind of resentful, went off to do the dishes, came back having thought about it and realized she'd missed emotional connections with me so much because I'd been bottling up my angry ( like any man should ) and confusing that for not caring about what happened, when she realized I was really worried for us and missed her. So then we had sex again and she made pork tenderloin for dinner.

DAMN I WANT SOME PORK TENDERLOIN

Is anyone else surprised that this devolved into Nikov gloating about his marriage and sex life again?

Well, he's happily married, so I'd expect that. How many of you in this thread can say the same*?

If it's the glue that holds his marriage together, why not? If I scored bonus points with my other by talking about how awesome my other is, I'd probably do it some extent too.

Although going on and on about your sex life is a little.....yeah.
