Notable Games Archive
« on: August 19, 2010, 04:00:31 pm »

This is the notable games archive, where we keep all of Bay12's best rounds of Mafia.  Since the forum is pretty old, there's a lot of great games here.  If you're a newbie, you should probably start with the Vanilla games, though everything else is awesome, too.

If you've just finished playing, reading, or running a particularly excellent game, come by and let me know!  This is the place to squawk about it for future generations of mafia players.

And yeah, I was thinking about adding BYOR, as well as the KWNs.

NSMB1 + BM3. The flavor for those games was magnificent.

3. It was with Solifuge vs. Karlito where Mephansteras used his Duke powers to save the RIGHT person (Karlito). Tragic play for the scum, despite how convincing it was.

Also, we could use the Paranormal 2 game where the Town base + WIFOM killed the scum, Paranormal ... 5? With the overpowered Ghost, Or the one with the Watcher :P.

Wasn't it 2, or something, where Org was a PWV and fake-claimed doctor?

heheheheh

Hm, okay.  I'll take a look.

I'm also thinking about Rysith's Semi-Bastard mod, IMBML(BM(M)) and BYOR: Pandar.  Opinions?

Yeah, as far as the bastard mods go I think Rysith's and KWN: DE were really the most... novel.  I'll leave CK's off the list for now.

It was Dwarf Fortress Mafia 3. I basically laid the groundwork for a crazy Xanatos flaseclaim on Day 1, and the crap hit the fan on Day 4. You guys have no idea how hard it was to put those lies together, and make them work! ._.

I had to lay the groundwork for that by PMs on Day 1... and there were SO many role questions to Webadict. I daresay it was one of my favorite Mafias, and probably my finest hour. I specifically loved that, after I'd convinced Town to lynch the real Child, Duke Mephansteras did a lynch-override and turned the tables. So epic.

I was almost certain that Solifuge had won that one.
