Well, I must say, I never thought I would get to meet the great Cobalt Kobold.

It's a pleasure to meet you, ma'am
We have a topic for this (Sorry if I seem brusque)

Witches' Coven
Beautiful flavor.  Unwinnable wincons.  Complicated setups.  Crazy gambits.
A fun read. Also, I'd say, an interesting progression of pressure/investigation on d3, and then...well.

Just go read it, will you?

KotM 4, for obvious reasons of good plans, bad plans, and downright ridiculous plans (read: giving everyone a day kill).

I missed a KotM?

How am I supposed to guess the King now?!?!

I've been right 3 of 3 times! Also, Toaster was my fourth pick, too.

Blast.

I can always guess the Prince, I suppose.

Hmm...
*mentally goes through list of games he's seen/played in*
I'd like to nominate Choose-your-own-masquerade, for oh so many reasons:
  • The masquerade mechanic itself
  • Ridiculously OP town vigilante
  • The scum team managing to recover from being kill-neutered D1
  • The mechanic of being able to choose your own role abilities
  • For a game that lacked any sort of true investigative ability (aka no alignment cop), two scum got summarily executed for suspicious roles
  • A doomed townie won the game for town at L-1 by shooting based on a hunch.

If I may say so myself, that was my best-played game of Mafia ever, and I really enjoyed not only deceiving the town but also just the entire game itself.  If there is any game that I've seen personally that deserves to be here, I'd say that it's this one.

That being said, I'm not sure how it matches up to some of the other games in here, but who knows.

Eh, I'm not sure. A game where you can easily sass dead players and taunt them that they deserved to die given their free choice of role doesn't look well as a nominated game.

But that's the player aspect anyway.

I agree that lynching people for their builds was bad, but that was because people were assuming that scum builds would look different from town builds.

Emphasis on the note: Player aspect; POST-DEATH; sassing DEAD PLAYERS.

I can read, but I felt that was more of a problem along with people getting lynched for their builds than anything else. And Toonyman insulting you for having a bad build was unwarranted, but that doesn't make the game less fun.

I understand that you're very proud of how you played in that game, but not everybody thinks of it in the way that you do :P

+1 to the game then.
He never said sorry or whatever anyway.
It just hurts that you can be both rude and passively aggressively jerkish. And/or elitist.

Sorry if I came off as rude there, I felt that the game was fun, but lynching people/getting angry at people for bad builds is annoying because not everyone thinks the same way. You don't have to +1 the game if you didn't find it fun. I would agree that if people attacked my build I'd be upset.

No, I do realize the game is quite fun. Just that one bit dampened it quite thoroughly that clouded up the fun I had with it.

And no, you weren't rude. Someone else, was.
