Great turn, we're really following tradition here.  The ecstatic traders should help replenish the population.

As long as they make it back to civilization alive.

Most traders that came to Battlefailed didn't have such luck.

Also, repeating my request to get dorfed as soon as possible.

Hey guys. Shit sorry ive been out of the loop so long. I stopped DF to take an RL break and didnt realise youd dropped me onto the turn order. Id love to take a turn but i think im going to have to pass. As much as this annoys me because this sounds like it will be hilarious fun.

Will try to keep in better contact from now on.
Let the next poor bastard on the list have a go. If there is room later on down the line i shall gleefully pick up my pick and crush some skulls.

Cheers

I just read the whole of battlefailed and this. It is amazing. I'd ask for a turn, but the line is already terribly long.

Do you think I could be Dorfed in the next migrant wave? Preferrably a weaponsmith or armorer. Custom profession "Anvil Jockey" would be cool too.

So, has Antymattar been made aware that it is now his turn?
Or do we have to pass on to Lupusater?

Heh. Just finished reading the entierty of both forts. This is just amazing. I'd like to be dorfed, if possible. Anything's fine. (although i'm not impartial to a medical dwarf if they're needed)

Who is PMing Lupusator that it's his turn?

I was only minding my own business when suddendly this guy approaches me and tells me I'm the new boss. Oh well... will have to run with it.

First things first, the current staircase is being lowered another level and a shaft searching for caverns and magma will be dug.

To combat the miasma problem, I've arranged for an outside landfill. It is inside the walls, so it shouldn't cause problems except for the zombie groundhogs, which were quickly and painlessly dealt with.

Migrant wave! 18 dwarves, an accomplished miner, some smiths and little other. This brings our population to 51.
Found the first cavern layer and walled it off.

A woodworker died of infection. Forgot to screenshot.
The hippies have come. And Mekboy the broker is sleeping. Typical, really. When he awoke, we traded mostly for cloth. The elves wanted to stop our tree-felling. Told'em to mind their own business.
Somewhat uneventfully, spring has ended. I am hoping for a more exciting rest of the year.

I Think Lur Should get a Dwarf's Body and come here to get some good ol' fashion !!Revenge!! on Andreus.
Also Requesting Dwarf from next Migrant wave.
Name: Draconik
Gender: Don't Care
Title: Insane Architech (Mason/Carpenter/Architech/Alchemist
Because if one Body-hopping madman is destroying the World then having Two might save it =P (or just cause it to wilt away much faster)

I would like to have a dwarf as well if thats possible . A Miner and Brewer. Or Smith and Brewer. Whichever is most convenient. That would be awesome.

Mekboy, your turn was gold. Im sorry i couldnt follow it up with hilarity. Hopefully sometime in the near future i will start up a new fortress (possibly another pickless wooden wonder) If im feeling especially brave later, i might even try and run a pickless, axeless succession. Those kinds of forts are the most fun
