Journal Of Ahrimahn

1st Granite

I have become the new leader of this prodigious fort, I have never had something of this scale handed to me. My first impression is what is wrong with this place where do I open the door!.

What happened to this fort? it seems like the greatness of its precursor Battlefailed has died even when we can see it just across the water from us people living there after some madman decided to rebuild it. The best part is though *BOOOOOOOM* (The fort crashed the second i unpaused it any advice on how to fix this?

I'm a new demented dwarven fun-maker, and i'd like to request a dwarfing if that's alright.  ThatAussieDwarf for naming preference.

So far, on every fort I have run, even the ones that usually lead to fun or the sort (Scrubbedcreams) I have yet to see much fun.

Maybe I could bring my non-fun qualities to this fort to hopefully add -fun. Depending on your view.

Alright, you people asked for the save. Not much if anything has been done, but I'll upload it to Dropbox anyway and post the link in the morning.

I am such a pushover.

I think that sentence describes all of Failcannon.

Okay, Elderont can't play, so I started up with the last posted save.  I then saved, went to the store and bought a bottle of plum wine and a barrel of pretzels in the hopes that a little drunkenness will help me slog through this godforsaken mess.

So yeah, Granite has passed and so far only two dwarves have died.  I'll try to get the dwarfings done tonight and start an update.  I want to try and renovate the place a bit and organize things.  I want to improve fps too and deal with a few other problems we have.

Every single dwarf is going into the militia, so let me know if you'd like a specific weapon.  The default is a silver hammer/crossbow.

Edit:  I meant 'godforsaken mess' in the most affectionate way.
