...

Eh, why not. Give me a few pics of the setup because I honestly can't be bothered downloading the save using public wifi which is chugging along at about 100kb/s. No idea what you mean by easternmost drawbridge and central cistern right now.

Well do you know where formerly was the depot? Just south of the main drawbridge, two z-levels below. There are two levers. The eastern one opens the floodgate-bridges, I think. 's how I showered myself during the second update xP

Yeah, it's the orthoclase lever on Level -1

There's a second orthoclase lever on Level -2 which opens the western floodgates.

Also, mystery lever right beside it. Pull it.

Soooo coloooorfuuuul.

Still, not much use for a goblin-shower if goblins can't be moved into it. :(

BTW, why are sieges entering exclusively on the southern side of the eastern drawbridge? There's like an undefended road and things to it's north.

Yeah, one level above those. The top left lever of the ones you got on the picture and the eastern one from the others.

Great, we ran out of logs AND out of corkscrews. And I was only two pumps away from finishing the first level... :(

***

And the forges are occupied by FBs. Fucking awesome.

No idea. THere haven't been any visitors apart from me, Aussie, and the dwarven merchants in my year.

Civilization has probably committed suicide when it saw the terrors of Failcannon.

Okay, I can't take it anymore. Everything I order to be done gets either suspended, cancelled or plain not done. There are ridiculous suspensions without any explanation which I have to manually hunt down and dwarves absolutely ignore any order priority, and one of them ignores EVERYTHING and just keeps training. I got through 4.5 months, uploading the save now. Let someone with stronger nerves tackle this.

Here's the save.

Things of note:
1) To the south of our main fortress I set up a lake-drilling project. To finish, please finish the pumps around the the empty water, then add another layer one z-level lower when the water drains, then cover the down stairs with hatches when you get to the seabed. Connect a lever from inside the Lesser Failcannon to any gear assembly that powers the whole contraption to seal the entrance.
2) The whole magma forge level is OVERRUN with FBs.
3) There's a siege going on.
4) Did I mention that there's seven dwarves remaining, out of whom one is a walking vegetable?

Guess it's my turn, then. Good thing, I just wanted to play some DF.
Waiting for the save, bro!
4.5 months?
That means that I play until the second spring, I'm I right?

I think that sentence describes all of Failcannon.

That depends. If you can survive the 7.5 months left, it's your choice.

Stay tuned, please!

Aw, c'mon, 30 mins for downloading the save? Failcannon broke my internet TT_TT
I'll wait, then.

Would that be Catalyst, by any chance? The last survivor of the rebellion, locked in her room with nothing else to do?
