You know that this fort has been through rough times when being shot several times with bolts and then having your head chopped off by fellow dwarves is considered anticlimatic.

It's nice to see my dwarf is being useful and getting off her butt to do whatever no one else feels like doing. And now I have the fun job of trading. I obviously want to learn how to do everything so that I can gain power be the most helpful dwarf ever. Yes, I can see it now...whenever something needs to be done, you'll be able to count on me. If I'm not too dead to help, anyway.

It's a shame Catalyst had to die in such a not horribly turmoil inducing way. I am still hoping that someone gets to be a traitor from this, though. We need some death and destruction what with such a high population. What are we at? 16-20 dwarves now? Unbelievable.

And we need more useless crap to fill the place up now that it's all been traded away. I mean, what sort of self respecting fort has FPS in double-digits?

I thank you all for electing me mayor, following the completely shocking and unexpected death of our beloved Catalyst, which I had nothing to do with whatsoever.  I promise you that, even in these hard times we face, I will not do anything whatsoever to help you.  I mean seriously, I have no sense of responsibility whatsoever.  I don't know whose idea it was to nominate me, but it was probably a bad idea.

Well, I meant safe in comparison to...we're all screwed. Just being a bookkeeper is dangerous business here.

We need some death and destruction what with such a high population. What are we at? 16-20 dwarves now? Unbelievable.

A grand total of 11 :P The liaisons are still here, though.
And I still managed to keep a net growth in population!

And we need more useless crap to fill the place up now that it's all been traded away. I mean, what sort of self respecting fort has FPS in double-digits?
Hah! What was traded away wasn't even half of what's within just 5 tiles of the depot. With just 11 working dwarves (who felt no desire to spend more than 5% of their time actually hauling to the depot, instead just idling there on it) there's no hope to ever actually deal with the trash. Especially the crap at the north edge. I would still suggest burning it away.

In more neutral (bad?) news, neither Mebtob (now Catalyst) nor Dariush have become traitors. I suspect this is because Catalyst was an enemy of both the civ and local government. The new Catalyst gets the living facilities in the Cell, for the moment, but is running around as normal. The liaisons seem to be completely insane, despite not being explicitly labelled as stark-raving-mad.

The Ghosts of Twobeard and Etur are still following 'Catalyst'. They all have strange tastes...
Oh dear... It appears that the liaisons have gone utterly bonkers, even berserk!

I think I'll leave that to Deathsword to decide, whenever he gets migrants.

Today's update should be the last.

From the OP, it seems that the last one was XI. Might be outdated, however.
