In any case- General Discussion is more or less the place where B12 becomes less of a Dwarf Fortress, and more of a Forum.
All of 'Finally...' follow this basic formula, but certain boards have their own set of regulars and their own quirks.

Hey, I'm actually sticking around!

Also, I think of the forums as being like an ocean. People start off in DF Gameplay Questions and Dwarf Mode Discussion when they start DF, then they get bored and try out Adventure Mode. This is followed by Community Games and Stories and DF General Discussion. Then they try out LCS and Other Games after getting bored of DF, and finally drifting down to here. Then they go down to Forum Games and Roleplaying before vanishing off the boards.

Naw man, you'd be surprised. The more prominent lower forumites are very active in GD, and some of them are incredibly active in Mafia.
