I'm not sure that you will ever have migrants in this world. Do check, I might be wrong. But there are no humans or elves either, so it's a lonely existance.

I am pretty sure that it said that there was humans right before I embarked.

That's because you are guaranteed the first two migrant waves, regardless of how few dwarfs you have left

It's probably made from baby bone, with a handle of baby leather. Probably uses the leg bones wound together for the handle, the pelvis for the handle/pick joint, and the pick is the spine.

But that's all in theory, of course. Not like I've made a pick out of my own 5 month old baby before.

Well as much as I hate to, I say we restart it.  Tsarwash, did you say you had a potential good start?

I'll redo the schedule some.  Let's do this.

I think it's a good place. I've played with it myself. We have a volcano, infinite water, (deep down), flux, elephants, iron, humans, mild goblins, (not many attacks in first few years), elves, some trees. It does NOT have coal or sand, or much tin. There is No river on the surface. Also, some of the caverns are very high indeed.

You like ?

Sounds as fine as any.  Unless anyone objects here shortly, go for it.  Embark!
