I can imagine the reaction this woman would get from our judges, it would be that "one-raised-eyebrow-are-you-out-of-your-pants-on-head-retarded-mind" look, that is untill she slipped some cash into his gaping pocket, then the airline would go down in flames.

Well... lawsuits can often go in weird directions.  I mean, a woman in Britain got compensation for damage from an MMR vaccine, even though it was established there was no proof that it caused any damage at all.
